Dogs in Weddings.Inspiration.

Alfie and Tilly are a huge part of my life, best friends and special family members. Having them at our wedding would be amazing and fun. I love the bow ties, floral collars and crowns
As we are to wed in Florida, it's not so practical to have the dogs with us (no doubt they'll be the two I miss the most!) as well as this, the party back home won't be the best environment for them. My plan is to have a pre-wedding party photo shoot, and carry it on for the party too. Sam and I will be in our wedding attire, and Alfie and Tilly will don some pretty items (probably thanks to Crown & Glory)
At the engagement party, the wonderful Chloe Lee will be shooting some more engagement photos for us, as the dogs will be there and I have lots of ideas I want to try (check out Pinterest for all my inspiration)

What do you think of your canine friends at the wedding? I'm a huge doggy person, and not only would it be fabulous for the photos, it's a fabulous thing to be able to share with you companion.

Engagement Shoot. By the Seaside. Inspiration.

Today, Sam and I are meeting the gorgeous Chloe Lee in Bournemouth. We're having our first (of 2) engagement shoot, this one being seaside themed.
I am hugely excited about the beach huts, the pretty colours and cute photos I've seen look amazing. Candyfloss, big lolly pops and ice cream will take a front row seat in some of the photos also. Being huge foodies, and rather big fatties, it seems very fitting.
We've also decided to go for Bournemouth as it was our first trip away together, probably close to 5 years ago, to the month.

I'm excited to share the photos with you, I have so much faith in Chloe, so I can't wait to see how they turn out. I will also be sharing the inspiration and shoot from our next engagement shoot, in a months time ♥

Engagement Party. Inspiration.

I've always loved the thought of an engagement party, mainly because I love to drink fizz and be around the ones I love. Being our party is super special too, showing off the ring on my fingers and being the center of attention...I won't lie, I love the thought of it.

Money always seems to be the issue, who ever you are, at the moment. So we were looking for something as cheap as possible, that we could put some cute ideas of our own too. It had to be wheel chair friendly, and allow 50-100 people.
Eventually we decided on a local park, we're hiring a big BBQ from them, putting up a gazebo and hoping for the sun to shine. The perfect garden-esq party ♥

I'm looking forward to drinking bubbles, bunting everywhere, umbrellas (just in case) paper straws and fun and laughter all around.
