As I have a style blog, Stephanie Dreams, it would be wrong for me not to talk about the recent bridal catwalks. The 2013 trends in wedding dresses have been every where, and like it or not, as is fashion darling.
I however don't believe in fashion trends leading the way, and even in every day life (rather then the crazy wedding bubble!) style and what suits will always rise way above the trends that last a season or two. Knowing how to dress for your shape, and what you want your clothes to say is as important, as being "trendy".
The key 2013 Wedding Dress trends are of course, still beautiful, and although some dresses may be a little wacky and out of my comfort zone, in general they are all stunningly gorgeous in there own special way.
I was very excited to both see cap sleeves & short dresses in the running, two things I have very much been thinking about for my gown. The cover up all so ties in nicely, and I think it's important that these are becoming more popular. Being modest may be the key. On the other side of this, the low backs are also very on trend, this gorgeous lace low back one is gorgeous- if you've got the figure, I think low backs can actually be very elegant.
What style gets your heart pumping, will you be following trends on your wedding day or breaking the fashion rules and wearing whatever the hell you like?
