On Saturday the 10th May I met up with some lovely girls in London to visit the Etsy Wedding Event. Etsy is somewhere that inspires me greatly, not just through wedding items, but outfits & general home wares too. When I heard about the event, I knew I had to go, and got excited even thinking about it. The ticket included a free cocktail, a goodie bag, a number of crafty workshops and an amazing photo booth (my fav!) For £5, I was so happy I purchased a ticket.
The work shops were the best thing about the event, they were perfect for the less craftier person (like myself) Kissing bride and groom pegs, quick dry clay heart decorations & doily pom-poms were made. I felt so proud of myself, and was fabulous to get a few ideas that wouldn't cost the earth.
We got to have a mooch around the items that are on sale at Etsy, cute handmade items and beautiful stationary were everywhere. There weren't any pushing of companies selling their items, making you book now now now, just a few people around to help with questions. It was the best way to get ideas and imagine the items in your own wedding ♥
